As webmaster and web application developer for many major corporations, my main roles are coding php, java, ajax “java client-side shorthand code”, content management, graphic design, accessibility, polishing existing pages, integration of comment tracking system and working with developers to integrate a universal user interface between different applications.
One of my primary responsibilities that I have taken on for myself is the improvement of various programming languages passed around on the internet today. Part of this also includes improving accessibility, compliance with web standards and user experiences across the board.
In addition to serving many developers as the user experience guru, I am also a php developer learning the newest php code starting with the latest php6, working on projects such as an AJAX enabled export log that integrates with our subversion versioning system. I have also developed an integration method to tie our “comment on this page” functionality with our bug tracking system.
A project I recently completed was in developing the best search algorithm for a major search engine company tweaking its search results to almost perfection and the reason I say ”almost perfection” is because GOD is the only true perfection. I also helped them developed a keywords system, which has an algorithm also to bring search results using keywords to a new level of precision by using a combination of more relevant and more important results to the user. The main search functionality is being provided through the Google web service API and templated using PHP’s Smarty Code.
